Supporting users and staff in Lancashire

The priority for Lancahire libraries was to find ‘new ways to engage our audience’.

They were able to use Niche Academy to create a dedicated school library service academy. They also rolled out over 30 popular book-related quizzes (which achieved more than 4000 views!),  support tutorials for a digital inclusion project and created a category of tutorials within their main site, just for home-schooling resources. Their next project is to develop tutorials for a group of volunteers helping with a digital photo archive.

‘The staff academy refreshes the library team’s knowledge of digital resources, using assignments to embed the team’s learning and has become an invaluable resource.’
