Danish Libraries' Success

The Danish Digital Library collaboration has achieved 105,000 circulations of RB Magazines in 2018

Magazine circulations have grown steadily since the Danish installation of RB digital services in 2013 and were recently boosted further by a wide-spread media campaign reminding the Danish public of this high-interest resource available to them.

DDL's patrons enjoy being able to download favourite magazines to their mobile device for reading anywhere, and with the more recent addition of comics and Qello's music concert streaming service they can now keep the whole family entertained from one app.

More than 8300 new card holders have joined the RB digital platform in the first four months of 2018, which is over double the number of accounts created in the same period last year.

With a new average of 35,000 magazine circulations per month, the Danish library consortium can be proud of their marketing campaign successes; including stickers, posters and other in-library visual displays plus the all-important press coverage which reached every Danish citizen to remind them how easy it is to set up a RBdigital account from their own home.

These results are testament to DDL's exceptional service and their commitment to promoting cutting-edge digital resources.
